Baked Cinnamon Apple Chips

If you are like me, you tend to forget about some of the produce in your refrigerator every now and then and it starts to go bad. I had tons of apples this season from my trip to the orchard and unfortunately, I neglected a few for so long that they were no longer crisp or appetizing to eat. However, the good news is that I you don’t have to waste them or throw them away. Simply turn on the oven for a few hours and bake them into apply chips to make them good as new!

They are really simple. All you have to do is this:

Baked Cinnamon Apple Chips

vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, grain-free, soy-free, dairy-free, peanut-free, tree nut-free, seed-free, shellfish-oil, fish-free, nightshade-free, bean & legume-free

  1. Slice apples into quarter-inch thick slices
  2. Lay them on a a well-greased baking sheet (you can also use parchment paper)
  3. Sprinkle generously with cinnamon and sugar
  4. Bake at 170*F for 3-4 hours, turning every 30 minutes

After these were done baking I couldn’t get enough of them! These make the perfect fall snack for any occasion.

Who knew that those old apples could be so delicious! Next time I am definitely going to make a larger batch!
