Are you seeking healthy nutrition to help manage your Type 1 Diabetes, Type 2 Diabetes, Pre-diabetes, or elevated glucose levels? It is important to understand what is going on inside the body and how the right nutrition can help manage uncontrollable sugar cravings and energy imbalances. Understand which foods and supplements can help regulate blood sugar and energy levels while minimizing the signs and symptoms of glucose and insulin imbalance.
Carbohydrates, the body’s main source of fuel, increase blood sugar and insulin levels in the body. With diabetes, the body is unable to control blood sugar levels due to lack of insulin production (type 1 diabetes) or insufficient use of insulin (type 2 diabetes). The unbalanced blood sugar levels can lead to inconsistent energy levels, sugar cravings and mood swings. Furthermore, uncontrolled blood glucose and insulin production can increase your risk for subsequent health conditions such as retinopathy, neuropathy, kidney failure, atherosclerosis, and heart disease. Let us help you find the right plan to regulate your blood sugar once and for all.
