First it was running, then it was crossfit, but why can’t it be both? This is the question I asked myself at the beginning of the year and have since committed to incorporating both running and crossfit back into my life with equal attention.
With my last race being nearly 6 months ago at the Big Ten 10K, I’m ready for my next challenge – the good old Shamrock Shuffle. I prepped a new playlist on my iPod to get me pumped up and hit the gym early this morning – it’s still way too cold and windy outside here if you ask me. I am simply loving my new running mix of songs:

I ran a quick 2 miles early this morning and then had to head off to a meeting downtown.
Did I tell you I signed up for Bikram yoga tomorrow!? Omg I can’t decide if I’m more excited or nervous about it! I’ve always wanted to try it, but something about sweating in 105 degree room for 90 minutes makes me nervous. Any advice?
