If you’ve never tried Brussels sprouts, or think you hate them, this recipe will change your life! This recipe come from Clean Food by Terry Walters (love this cookbook!). Every time I make Brussels sprouts I use this recipe and I can’t seem to get enough, they are seriously addicting!
Favorite Brussels Sprouts

- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 Tbsp olive oil
- 15 Brussels sprouts, thinly sliced lengthwise
- 1 Tbsp mirin (rice vinegar)
- 1 Tbsp sesame oil
- 1 Tbsp seseame seeds
In a skillet on medium heat, sauté garlic and olive oil for a couple of minutes until garlic becomes soft. Add Brussels sprouts and sauté for 15-20 minutes until they begin to brown and caramelize. Reduce heat to low and add mirin, sesame oil, and sesame seeds. Combine and serve.
It’s as simple as that! What’s your favorite way to cook Brussels sprouts?
