Roasted Brussels Sprouts

This week I Brussels sprouts were on sale at Jewel so I went ahead a grabbed a handful, even though I was weary about whether or not I would like them. As a kid I was always convinced I would hate them, but had never actually tried them! So tonight was my chance

I cut them in half, coated them with some olive oil, balsamic vinegar, salt and pepper and popped them in the over at 375 for 15 minutes.

And

To my surprise, they were delicious! I only ate a few and then they got a little gaggy, so I saved the rest to accompany other meals later this week!

So the moral of the story I guess is never be afraid to try new foods or assume that you won’t like them until you actually try them; you may be in for a pleasant surprise!
