Next time you crave the great taste of pizza, think to build your own at home! You will save on money and calories! Whether you make your own pizza crust at home or purchase a pre-made one from the grocery store, making your own pizza is fun, easy, and cost effective! Load up on veggies and use low-fat cheese to cut out the fat and grease that usually come with delivery options.

In the spirit of the season, adding garden-fresh summer veggies was the perfect topping for my healthy homemade pizza! With the purchase of pre-made pizza crust and sauce, chopping veggies was the only step needed here. I used 1 cup of brocolli, 1/4 of a red onion, 1 red bell pepper, 1 green bell pepper, and 2 tomatoes.

Topped off with a few handfuls of Italian herb Parmesean cheese.

Pop it in the oven at 400?? and presto! Mmm veggie-licious!

Customize your own healthy pizza today and let Eat Chic know what your favorite toppings are!
